Care Guide for Boots

1. Regular Cleaning (weekly ,or after heavy use)

• Remove Dirt & Dust: Use a soft brush or cloth to gently remove dirt and debris from the surface. Be sure to clean the seams and crevices.
• Wipe Down: Dampen a soft cloth with water (and a mild soap if necessary) to clean any stubborn dirt or stains.
• Dry Properly: Let the boots air dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources like radiators, as they can dry out and crack the leather.

2. Conditioning the Leather (every 1-3 months)

• Apply Leather Conditioner: Use a high-quality leather conditioner or cream. This helps keep the leather soft, flexible, and moisturized. It also prevents cracking.
• How to Apply: Apply a small amount of conditioner to a soft cloth, then rub it evenly into the leather in circular motions. Let it absorb for 10-15 minutes, and then buff off any excess with a clean cloth.
• Condition the Inside: For leather-lined boots, consider applying conditioner to the interior leather to prevent cracking and drying.

3. Drying Wet Boots

• Avoid Heat: Never dry leather boots with direct heat (e.g., hairdryers, radiators). It can cause cracking and shrinkage.
• Stuff Them with Paper: Use newspaper or paper towels to absorb moisture from the inside. Replace the paper frequently until the boots are dry.
• Let Them Air Dry: Place boots in a well-ventilated area to air dry.
